As Deputy Radiology Manager you will be an innovative and enthusiastic senior radiographer, Nuffield Health is Britain's largest and most pioneering healthcare charity, integrating fitness and well-being, prevention and cure. We've brought together our hospitals, clinics, fitness & wellbeing centres as well as our diagnostic units into one holistic healthcare service provided from over 200 locations. A not-for-profit organisation, we reinvest every penny we make into helping the people of Britain to lead healthier, happier lives. In today's healthcare market, we're in an enviably strong position. We employ over 120 permanent staff and accommodate the practices of some 200 consultants working across a broad range of disciplines. As specialists in the care and treatment of cancer, we've earned the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark. Our other specialities are orthopaedic, ENT and general surgery. This hospital has 37 beds and 4 operating theatres for major and minor surgery. We're located to the south of the city centre, within easy reach of public transport. Our Radiology Department, with its state-of-the-art technology, enjoys a friendly, dedicated and multi-disciplinary team which is committed to delivering high quality diagnostic imaging, through a range of radiographic procedures. This is an ideal opportunity to develop your skills in supervising non-HPC registered staff on a day-to-day basis, and mentoring more junior team members. We will also expect you to participate in our On Call Rota. We are seeking both an innovative and enthusiastic individual to work in a team providing both clinical and management support. A senior radiographer, preferably with PACS/RIS experience, you will possess a BSc or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography with proven post qualification experience and have current HPC registration and a current radiation protection supervisors certificate. A Certificate of Competency in Mammography is essential, combined with General, X-ray competency including Theatre Radiography.
