A permanent IT Product Manager is needed for a retail organisation based in North London.

This is a brand new role and is a blend of technical expert, product expert, user evangelist, best practice analyst, and innovator with organisational and commercial acumen. There is a significant data and digital element to this role. The role is essential in ensuring existing profitability of the business and enabling future growth through technology.
If you are motivated by complex problem solving and grasping a fast-paced environment quickly this role could be for you. You will be working with a variety of products and will be given the freedom to make things happen but following a well developed governance process.

The role will also be:
-Managing a product portfolio of predominantly data focused products-To acquire knowledge and to become a subject matter expert in assigned products (hardware and software)
-To engage with stakeholders and partner organisations for the purpose of product lifecycle, reviewing relevancy and innovation-Managing systems/products from cradle to grave
-To engage with global and UK IT functions such as governance, architecture, service operation, project teams and software development teams

Key Experience:
-3+ years’ experience in a product management role
-General understanding of functions across a broad range of technology
-The ability to interact collaboratively and negotiate positive outcomes with diverse groups - Directors, Managers, IT Teams and suppliers
-Experience in strategic design of a Data roadmap across multiple products
-Experience of modern data design, processing, transformation, documentation and presentation layers
-Previous responsibility for data structure design
-Experience in digital channel data initiatives such as CRM, Mobile, Web and the analytics behind such channels
Desirable:-Experience working in a maturing online retail organisation-Experience working in large scale retail estates, with federated and centralised organisational models
