Recovery Practitioner (ODP/RGN)Spire Bushey Equivalent Band 5 Dependent on ExperienceSpire Bushey Hospital is a state of the art 70 bedded hospital with 5 High Specification Surgical Theatres and 20 Outpatient Consulting rooms. We also have a minor procedure suite for day case and out-patient surgery. Our cardiology unit including echocardiography, stress testing, 24 hour ECG analysis and a host of other services. We are also proud of our Macmillan Quality Environment Mark (MQEM) accredited dedicated cancer centre which provides chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. We are now expanding with a new Outpatients facility on the existing hospital grounds. This state-of-the-art medical centre will provide 14 purpose designed consulting and treatment rooms, outpatients diagnostics and a second MRI scanner, increasing the capacity for both inpatient and outpatient services.Considerate and compassionate, you will provide excellent care to patients after their operations. Assessing patients’ health and wellbeing

Assisting with the management of care in the operating theatre

Committed to continuous improvement, both in yourself and others, you’ll act as a role model, take every opportunity for training and play a key role in developing our perioperative service.You’ll share our passion for caring, with considerable experience of working in teams as a an operating department practitioner. You will have at least 2 years nursing experience with ILS/ALS training. Fully aware of health and safety and infection control requirements, you will have strong planning, organisation, and problem solving skills and knowledge of relevant medical devices and equipment.
