We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic autism specialist provider in the South Yorkshire region for a Quality and Compliance officer for their children service.

In the role you will be responsible for;

To carry out specific tasks and duties including; brief writing, report writing, analysis investigation/root cause analysis and ad hoc project assignments.

  • To conduct regulatory-based inspections of the services
  • Develop individual inspection plans
  • Assess and analyse information from a range of sources in order to be effective in promptly identifying trends in respect of risks and concerns that may impact negatively on standards of quality and safety and indicate non-compliance.
  • To devise, plan and deliver information sessions for appropriate staff on relevant legislation and standards.
  • Ensure that judgements made are based on corroborated evidence and analysis and maintain an audit trail of evidence assessed.
  • To work with the Data Analyst to support the development of systems for collecting, managing and presenting up to date and relevant quality information.
  • To support the analysis of risk across services and the effective use of risk management and monitoring.
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be required
  • The ideal candidate will;

  • Have a very strong knowledge of current OFSTED regulations
  • Have an understanding and experience working with children with autism
  • Have very good problem solving skills
  • Be experienced in creating and following action plans
  • Will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding in respect of current child and adult protection matters, processes and responsibilities.
  • In depth knowledge of the relevant sections of the Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000 and Children's homes and Regulation and Quality Standards 2015.
