Come and join the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Children and Young People’s Community Health Services, classified as outstanding in the August 2017 CQC report. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated paediatric nurse to work within our friendly, forward thinking Community Children’s Nursing Team. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic practitioner to help lead the team through a very exciting period of development and expansion. The team are currently in the development of an exciting and innovative model of care, which includes integration with the Children with Complex Needs Nursing Team and Hospital@Home. This will incorporate developing nurse led clinics and close working with Primary care. The Team covers the borough of Lewisham. The work is varied and offers a wide range of experiences in the delivery of care to children with acute and chronic nursing needs in their own homes and in other community settings. You will need to be flexible, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently but also as part of a very supportive team delivering care to a diverse caseload.
