An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Dining Club Group who are the fast growing owner of the UK’s leading discount dining clubs. Tastecard, Gourmet Society and Hi-Life are membership subscription services giving members 50% off, 2 for 1 discounts or 20% of the total bill at over 10,000 restaurants; including top chains such as PizzaExpress, ASK Italian, Café Rouge, Strada and Zizzi.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing working alongside a strong Marketing Team, who successfully operate across all marketing disciplines including print, email, SEO, web, mobile, app and social media. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, creative and passionate about digital, with the ability to manage a brief from initial idea and specification through to the promotions launch. In joining one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, you will play a crucial role in devising and implementing multi-channel campaigns that engage, inform and drive membership acquisition and retention.

The successful candidate must have a high level of competency in SEO strategy and implementation. This is the right position for the right person who what’s to step up to the next level using all available enterprise tools.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering on all Pay Per Click strategies including: creating, implementation, managing and tracking the optimisation of PPC campaigns across several search engines and markets
  • Focus on gaining sales at the lowest possible CPA
  • Responsibility for KPI reporting and delivering the best possible ROI
  • Daily account management of pay per click accounts on Google AdWords, Bing and other paid marketing platforms
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with campaign goals
  • Support the generation new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of new paid search marketing initiatives.
  • Cost estimate and budget management
  • Ad copy writing and testing
  • Generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives
  • Administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools

Skills & Attributes

  • Expert knowledge of AdWords, Bing Ad platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Extensive knowledge of keyword strategy aims and goal
  • Landing page optimisation
  • Competitor and SWOT analysis
  • Good understanding of SEO search to work alongside SEO Manager
  • Be competent with Microsoft office packages such as word and excel
  • Initial and develop large-scale projects that can generate huge impact on business growth
  • Constantly measuring PPC effectiveness and contribution to growth

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Possess a high standard of written and oral English.
  • A confident, positive and can-do attitude.
  • Experience in briefing in-house teams and/or external agency partners.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to manage complex and multiple tasks with good prioritisation skills.
  • A clear understanding of the KPIs that measure successful campaign performance.
  • Use of Content Management Systems and Google Analytics.
  • Be adaptable to the needs of the business.
