Purchase Ledger Controller job opportunity. Established Energy business in central London. Up to £30k

Your new role
For this job opportunity you will be working as the Purchase Ledger Controller, taking sole ownership over that ledger and reporting in to the Finance Manager. You will be getting involved in month end processes, taking ownership of the bank reconciliations and also completing all the transnational accounts payable duties. You will be using SUN system and specific duties will include:

  • Matching, batching and coding of invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Working in multiple currencies and managing inter-company work
  • Journal postings
  • Processing payment runs
  • Dealing with supplier queries and supporting internal staff queries
  • Bank reconciliations for over 30 accounts
  • Credit card and employee expenses
  • Running month-end closure process

What you'll need to succeed
You must have at least 2 years experience working on the purchase ledger previously, hold a stable CV and be committed to working on the purchase ledger for the foreseeable future. You should have excellent commutation skills, have a 'ca do' attitude and also a 'customer service' approach to resolving internal and external issues. Sun system experience is beneficial. You must have experience with month-end and bank reconciliations to be considered for this role.
