BI Analyst

Here at S3 Science, we are currently recruiting for a BI Analyst, to join a Global Leader in their field. The successful candidate will be joining a company committed to providing ingenious solutions and notable support to organisations seeking to detect and deter the abuse of drugs and alcohol. This is a full time permanent position, based in Oxfordshire.

The Role

This is a full time, office-based role, working at the client's UK Head Office.

The role of the BI Analyst at the client offers interesting challenges in a complex environment. The position provides you with various opportunities to make a significant contribution to the business, working with a small team of Business System Developers.

With in-depth experience of SQL Server, and some experience of database reporting (using, for example, tools such as Tableau, Qlikview and SQL Reporting Services), you will already be familiar with some elements of database administration and query optimization. Within the first 3 months, you will take over the management of our existing Data Warehouse and Tableau/Qlikview/SQL dashboards, and will have suggested improvements/optimisations to them. You will also have familiarized yourself with the existing infrastructure and applications.

Role Requirements

To be considered for the role of BI Analyst, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Building and working with Data Warehouses, including CDC and ETL (as a guide, 5+ years' experience)
  • Some DBA skills would be required
  • Previous experience with Tableau, Qlikview & SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Crystal Reports

You will be expected, from time-to-time, travel to/from the client (or other) sites with occasional nights away from home.

To apply for this role, simply apply to the advert, or alternatively you can email your CV to the email below.

Only successful candidates will be contacted, all successful candidates are subject to S3 Science's stringent security checks.
