Bretsa are recruiting for an experienced, knowledgeable and passionate Deputy Manager for a nursery in Forest Hill.
We are looking for somebody who will be able to support the manager in the running of the nursery, as well as be a support to the staff in the rooms and be a role model in your ability to engage and care for children and in furthering children's development.
The salary for this position will be in the banding of £21,000 - £23,000 per year depending on experience
This is a full-time position based on 42 hours per week Monday to Friday

The Candidate must have:
  • A full and relevant Early Years Qualification Level 3 or equivalent
  • Sound knowledge of The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation stage
  • Achievement orientated with an ability to use own initiative
  • Strong leadership to deliver high quality practice within the nursery
Role Expectations:
  • To work under the direction of the Manager and deputise for them as and when required
  • Support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the Manager in the organisation of a high-quality setting
  • Provide high standards of childcare and education including monitoring and reviewing the provision always
  • Be key to raising the quality of early years provision and act as an agent of change to improve practice in the nursery including providing a safe, caring environment to enable the emotional, social and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities

This position requires the individual to be willing to undergo a check with the disclosure and baring service (DBS) (formerly CRB)
