Rated Good by the CQC with an Outstanding rating for our medical care.72 En-suite rooms including:• 5 Day case beds• 4 Bedded extended recovery unit• 7 roomed chemotherapy suite with links to Macmillan Cancer Support providing care and treatment to patients from diagnosis through to treatment.• 5 State of the art theatres • Stand-alone Endoscopy Suite• Imaging department with full X-ray, CT and MRI facilities• A fully equipped Physiotherapy Department including Hydrotherapy• 25 Consulting rooms recently refurbished to a very high standardConsiderate and compassionate, you will provide excellent care to patients, before, during and after their operations. This rewarding, patient-focused role will see you assessing patients’ health and wellbeing, preparing equipment, and assisting with the management of care in the operating theatre. Committed to continuous improvement, both in yourself and others, you’ll act as a role model, take every opportunity for training and play a key role in developing our perioperative service.You’ll share our passion for caring, with considerable experience of working in teams as a registered nurse or operating department practitioner. You’ll have developed impressive skills through practice and additional training. Fully aware of health and safety and infection control requirements, you will have strong planning, organisation, and problem solving skills and knowledge of relevant medical devices and equipment.
