Position: Service Desk Analyst

Salary: £18,000

Location: Wigan

Are you ambitious and want to forge a career in IT? We have the perfect opportunity for you to do so. You will form part of the Service Desk as a Service Desk Analyst and be able to learn and develop into a fully-fledged engineer.

The essential skills for the Service Desk Analyst:

  • You must be ambitious and interested in technology
  • You will like sports
  • Be open and an excellent communicator

The desirable skills for the Service Desk Analyst:

  • Windows OS
  • Microsoft Office 2013 / O365
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Active Directory
  • Previous Service Desk Experience

The responsibilities of a Service Desk Analyst:

  • You will maintain Service Desk mailboxes and ensure that everything is dealt with in line with the Incident Management Process
  • You will log all calls and service requests through the in-house call logging system
  • Ensure all open tickets are update where relevant
  • Handle priority calls and escalate to the relevant party where needed

The working hours of a Service Desk Analyst:

  • You will work 4 days out of 7, which are 10 hour shifts
  • You will work 2 weekends out of 4
  • Shifts are 7:30 - 5:30 or 11:30 - 10:00
