King Harold Academy is seeking an outstanding and inspirational teacher of History to join our Humanities department.

You will be joining King Harold at a time when it has been rated Good by Ofsted (May 2016) and with its summer's GCSE results continuing to improve with both Maths and English attainment and progress above national average.

We are seeking to appoint a committed and outstanding teacher to become a part of our rapidly expanding and improving History Department.

The successful candidate will have the vision and skills to ensure that the students receive a coordinated and exciting experience of History across the Key Stages and will be able to deliver high quality teaching and learning within a creative curriculum. GCSE students visit the WW1 battlefields of Belgium and participate in the Jack the Ripper tour of the East End; at Key Stage 3 our students spend a day running the local museum in Waltham Abbey,

The Academy is part of The Kemnal Academies Trust group which provides opportunities to work closely with other academies within the Trust through school-to-school support and provide continuous professional development.
