Cisco Voice Specialist (voice engineer)

Working within our Networking & Security Team the primary responsibility of this role will be to provide 2nd/3rd Line Voice Support for our Cisco telephone support customers on Cisco Voice and Routing issues, working with the team and suppliers to ensure customer issues are resolved.

In addition, you?ll help the Network and Security Team with their support incident queues. You?ll be required to analyse Cisco Voice calls and troubleshoot issues where they arise.

About you

In addition to great communication skills and a passion for technology, you?ll need skills in troubleshooting Cisco Voice and Routing technologies.

Key skills / certifications required for the Voice Engineer role:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (Collaboration)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (R&S)
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager
  • Cisco Unity
  • Cisco Meeting Place
  • Cisco Expressway
  • ARC console
  • Practical experience of router and switch configuration
  • Good Cisco software and hardware troubleshooting skills
