To support womenswear luxury fashion brand on planning, buying and retail analysis for all Stores. Regularly review sales, seasonal stock performance and the movement of stock throughout the business to achieve retail sales plan and sell thru objectives.


Trading / Stock Management

·Ensure financial success of the business by meeting sales and gross profit plans.

·Analyse weekly trade reports at style/colour to maximise any sales opportunities with in-season replenishment on key sizes, and any inter-store transfers.

·Plan and monitor stock allocations to the desired location and category objectives. Maximise full-price sales by ensuring the right amount of inventory is in each location.

·Manage stock and authorise stock requests across all channels (Retail, Web and Wholesale) and for all special occasions (Press requests, events, pop up stores etc.).

·Propose and manage the seasonal markdown strategy in close collaboration with Head of Departments.

·Make in-season promotional recommendations for slow selling merchandise.

·Work closely with production to monitor inbound product flow to ensure key collection launch dates are met. Attend weekly dispatch meetings.

·Communicate new ranges to stores and liaise with visual merchandising to ensure key looks are visually represented to the plan in each location.

Financial Planning / Reporting

·Prepare sell thru reports for weekly trade meetings and report on deliveries of new seasons.

·Work with the Product Merchandiser on End of Season Analysis and best-/worstsellers to inform the new season developments.

·Manage OTB monthly based on sales actuals, future forecasts and stock holding targets.

·Undertake space planning by location to ensure merchandise strategies maximise sales, inventory and bottom line profitability. Work closely with visual merchandising to communicate and execute the directives for each store.


·Conduct and coordinate the seasonal buys for our Retail stores and Web in line with the buying budget and in close collaboration with the Product Merchandiser and Head of Departments.

·Attend pricing sign off meetings of new collection launches.

·Submit Retail and Wholesale projections and final orders to VP of Production to meet critical path deadlines and ensure timely deliveries.

Outlet Range Planning / Off Price

·Select (buy back) aged stock for our outlet store and prepare a stock offering of aged stock for our off price customers in line with our off price sales plans.

·Partner with VP of Sales on Off Price deals to achieve annual stock disposal targets.

·Compile and use historical sales analysis to drive commercial decisions on carry-forward styles and stock fabric.

·Based on historical sales analysis, stock requirements and customer profile in our outlet store, propose a range plan to an outlet price/margin model to senior management for sign off.

·Work closely with the Product Merchandiser and VP of Production to ensure styles meet target price-points, margins and lead times.

·Review stock fabric availability and vendor allocation (CMT or FOB) of proposed outlet range plan to ensure fabric minimums can be met and are within the assigned budget.


  • The ideal candidate will require a minimum of 2-3 yrs experience in the womenswear luxury goods industry.
  • Must be analytical and have strong communication, follow-up and team orientation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting systems are key.
  • Excellent retail math skills and other reporting abilities.
  • Be able to work independently and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
