SYK Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for an experienced RGN to lead a 30-bedded general nursing unit in a large Dagenham nursing home.

The home is owned and managed by a large national care group, who can offer a fantastic employment package, which includes:

The role has a 40-hour working week, and will involve leading the team of Nurses and HCAs within the unit, managing and monitoring care and ensuring all care documentation is correctly updated, in addition to getting involved with the hands-on delivery of clinical care.

Applicants for this Unit Manager post should meet the following specification:

Registered with the NMC as an Adult Nurse/RGN
Extensive elderly care experience in a leadership role
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Provide evidence of continuing professional development, including having completed a recognised teaching and mentorship qualification
Up to date knowledge of best practices of care, CQC requirements, quality standards, DoLS and the MCA
