Our client , a well-respected charitable organisation, has a unique job opportunity for a Finance Manager to manage the organisations financial affairs.
Your new role
As Finance Manager you will lead and manage a small team of staff ensuring the effective running of the finance team, ensuring integrity and timeliness of all recorded information.
You will be responsible for all finance matters of the charity which receives funding from grants, major investors, fundraising and several charity shops.
You will report to the chief executive directly and will liaise with external bodies such as HMRC.
Auditing forms a large part of the role as well as financial forecasting. Your role also involves filing accounts with OSCR and Companies House.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant preferably with experience within the charity sector and using Sage 50 systems.
You should be familiar with auditing, invoicing, VAT exemptions, purchase & sales ledgers and reconciliations.
Our client is seeking a candidate with strength of character who will be able to effectively monitor this large organisations' financial affairs.
