Overall Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

·Provide a high level of customer service.

•Ensure that customers’ ICT systems, including hardware and software, are functioning correctly according to their SLA.

•Improve, update and maintain customers’ ICT systems according to their SLA

•Perform regular checks on customers’ ICT systems to help highlight and resolve potential problems before they adversely affect the operation of their ICT systems.

•To acquire and maintain a good understanding of customers’ ICT systems including customer-specific software.

•Evaluate new software and hardware to ensure smooth functioning of ICT systems prior to installing.

•Advise on the technical specification and the best way to implement proposed new technologies in compliance with our recommendations.

•Keep an up to date inventory of all ICT equipment for customers according to their SLA.

•Keep up to date documentation of customer’s ICT Systems according to their SLA

•Keep detailed up to date records of all customers’ ICT requests on our service desk.

•Assist in procuring ICT equipment on behalf of a customer, complying with both our company and the customer’s procurement procedures.

•Liaison with 3rd parties to resolve ICT issues.

•To act in a professional manner to ensure that the service received by our customers is of the highest standard.

•Provision of electronic hardware maintenance including solving electronics related problems in operational systems

•Provide support for other colleagues as required.

•To work on projects under the guidance of the lead engineer.

•Keep the customer informed of the status of all of its ICT requests

•Keep an up to date record of customer’s software licenses.

•Assist customers disposal of obsolete equipment in line with current legislation including WEEE and Data Protection.

•Comply with Data Protection legislation at all times.

•Any other duties your line manager deems appropriate.
