One of our Central Support Offices is based in Gosforth and is a bustling hub of Parkdean Resorts. This exciting place to work houses all the essential supporting functions for our 73 holiday parks along with our award winning Contact Centre.

This modern office has a great feel, a mix of energetic knowledgeable professionals all working as one unified team to achieve Parkdean Resorts objectives. Based near the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, it has great transport links.

Calling all internal communication experts – We have created a brand new and exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our business to drive best practice and employee engagement across the business via robust frameworks, vehicles, projects and through embedding our vision, brand and strategy.

Using multi- channel and innovative communication channels, you will ensure employee engagement is supported by a robust reporting and management information structure which will measure engagement and performance activities to drive in turn business growth and customer satisfaction as the business continues to grow.

As Communication Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the delivery and articulation of business strategy via engaging visual, verbal and written communications
  • Create and effective cross-business projects to engage and embed business values, vision, brand and strategy
  • Develop best practice across all internal communications and branding
  • Establish, manage and develop relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Being a trusted advisor and expert on communications within the business ensuring it remains at the forefront of best practice
  • Supporting change and transformation projects business wide to ensure alignment is achieved across all areas
  • Ensuring measurements and milestones are implemented to measure engagement and drive performance in both processes and customer feedback

The successful candidate will:

  • Bring experience of delivering internal communications and engagement in a similar role working within a marketing/HR function
  • Experience of working within a commercially focused B2C sector
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills; written, verbal and visual via multi channels demonstrated in a commercial and customer focused environment
  • Creative and natural flair in communication style is essential
  • Use professional influence who can naturally build relationships and communicate effectively and confidently with all levels in the business
  • Provide statistical reporting therefore need a good level of IT competence including MS packages including excel to a high level
  • Have marketing degree or equivalent qualification coupled with relevant work experience
  • Have the desire and passion to create and shape this exciting opportunity within the business taking full ownership
