What’s the Job?

You’ll be working with both internal and external customers so you’ll be experience in dealing with people at all levels; you’ll also be responsible for:

Schematic design, PCB prototype, evaluation boards and reference design

Assist the Field Applications Engineers by providing product training

Providing technical support to customers

Creating documentation including datasheets, evaluation and application reports.

Providing customer support, including training, technical support, troubleshooting, design support and site visits on a European and Worldwide basis

Working with the development and marketing teams

Generation of Spice models

What experience do you need?

You’ll already be working in a similar role with extensive experience of the electronics industry, you’ll also need:

A degree in electronics / physics (or equivalent)

Extensive experience in circuit design (preferable PSU, motor control, lighting)

The ability to explain technical data to the non-technical

Excellent IT skills (Excel is essential) and the ability to analyse data

Strong communication skills (excellent English both written and spoken)

Driven and motivated

Practical and have a hands on approach

Fluent English language (written and spoken)

What are the pay and benefits?

A salary of up to £45,000 is on offer for this role, an unrivalled benefits package is also on offer which includes: pension; childcare vouchers; cycle to work, life assurance; cash plan healthcare; season ticket loan and free parking; holidays are 25 days and hours of work are 8.15am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
