Purpose of Job

IMImobile is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery of IMI product and bespoke implementations, taking ownership of the technical proposition throughout the full project lifecycle. This is a vital position within the organisation and the successful candidate will have a pivotal role in all customer deliveries with the chance to make a significant impact on customer satisfaction and the quality of the delivery teams.

Principal Accountabilities (responsibilities and duties):

Principle technical interface between the customer, QA and development teamsOwner of the technical solution being delivered during the delivery phaseAbility to confidently interpret client requirements translating them into technical requirementsAdd value throughout the SDLC through effective questioning, investigation and outside the box thinking to exceed customer expectationsComfortable leading client technical discussions during both the scoping and delivery phasesConfident working as part of a geographically distributed team, ensuring the technical solution is understood by all concerned parties and changes effectively scoped, defined and implemented to the required high standards expected by our customersExcellent wire framing, process mapping and technical writing skillsProvide an effective hand over to the QA team to ensure high quality outputSupporting commercial teams during technical pre-sales discussions with clients and supporting RFP responses as requiredKey Performance Indicators:

Advanced understanding of delivering technical solutions in both an Agile and Waterfall environmentImprove the quality of technical implementations ensuring that all contractual client requirements have been met in the final deliveryMeasurable improvement to quality of all customer deliveries through effective communication to QA and development teamsHigh quality documentation, gaining the trust and respect of account managers, development, qa and customersEnsure any technical challenges are communicated effectively internally and manage the resolution process through to conclusionDemonstrate strong leadership skills within role and potential to lead junior staffPlan own work load and communicate timelines to internal stake holdersExperience, Qualifications and Technical Knowledge:


Strong analysis experience in a full software development lifecycle / SDLC technology environment (Agile and/or Waterfall)Proven experience in a customer facing roleTechnical architecture of high volume transactional systemsTechnical knowledge or familiarity with .Net, SQL, XML & JSONExperience with enterprise cloud products.Strong commercial awareness and ability to run effective customer workshopsNatural ability to analyse and resolve technical problemsExperience of producing test case documents and working closely with QA teamsAbility to work autonomously, a self-starter with the confidence to make own decisionsDesirable:

Mobile industry experienceAny formal qualifications in Agile, ISEB Analysis and/or Project Management would be advantageousExperience of technical social networking integrations such as Twitter and Facebook
