Reporting Analysis Actuary - Midlands
Our client is seeking a qualified life actuary to analyse and report financial results on regulatory bases (mainly Solvency II, alongside IFRS), and to contribute to the development of reporting processes.
You will support the consolidation of Solvency II results, production of balance sheet and other reporting items, including responsibility for suitable control and review.
You will also contribute to the analysis of results and production of reports to Board and other committees setting out the results with suitable commentary.
In addition, you will assist with the setting or review of assumptions including Matching Adjustment and supportability of Volatility Adjustment.
With knowledge of Solvency II reserving and reporting requirements, you will also possess a good understanding of life insurance valuation and capital management.
Familiarity with MoSes preferred.
