Hours: Mon – Thurs 8.30pm to 6.30am (LONG WEEKEND EVERY WEEK!)

Job Outline:

Our client, a highly successful automotive supplier, is looking to recruit a Night Maintenance Engineer to be part of their dynamic Maintenance team supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects as well as carrying out TPM and reactive maintenance work on a wide range of PLC controlled production machinery and Robots.

Job Role:

·Responsibility of the maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure production targets are met and breakdowns kept to a minimum.

·Ensure PPM activities are conducted in line with schedules.

·Fault find electrical and mechanical issues in an efficient manner and to test and develop all PLC Systems across the site.

·Ensure all Electrical requirements and drawings are regularly kept up to date.

·To liaise with Main PLC Technician of any software changes & related faults

·Record and investigate all breakdowns and communicate to all team members.

·Support and observe all team members as required and recommend any additional training where required

·To carry out any other reasonable tasks request by the company and to be flexible to support work to be carried out of normal work hours as required.

Person Specification:

This role will suit electrically and mechanically skilled maintenance engineers from automated high volume production environments.

Qualifications/ Skills

·Time served apprenticeship in Electrical / Mechanical skills or NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds level 3 or 5 Years Post Graduate experience

·17th Edition of IEE wiring regulations

·Siemens S7 PLC fault finding

·Robot maintenance
