£15.15 per hourHigh Peak Lodge, Bedford Square, Off Chapel Street, Leigh, Lancashire, WN7 2AA We currently have an opportunity for a Bank RGN to join our team based at High Peak Lodge in Leigh, Lancashire to provide and supervise the delivery of high quality nursing care to residents in accordance with up to date, evidence-based professional practice and company policies.High Peak Lodge provides expert nursing care for people with physical disability and terminal illness, as well as palliative care and respite care. Our aim is to provide the people we support with a clean, comfortable and homely environment where they are treated with dignity, respect and sensitivity. Responsibilities:Undertake medication administration in accordance with best practice and prevailing NMC guidance and Embrace policies and proceduresCarry out all duties in a safe manner having regard for the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, residents and visitors and report accidents as necessaryAssess, plan, implement and evaluate person centred care for each individual that meets their needs and demonstrates outcomes within the expected time-scalesEstablish and maintain good relationships with the people we support, their relatives and staffEnsure that individuals are safe-guarded in accordance with "No Secrets" legislation, Embrace policy and local safeguarding policyPromote and maintain a good working relationship with all external bodies and commissionersEnsure that the people we support are treated with privacy, dignity and respect at all timesMaintain a sound knowledge of Care Quality Commission (or equivalent) and all other regulatory standardsEnsure individuals receive a nutritious balanced diet and adequate hydration in accordance with their plan of careProvide coaching, training and support to junior staff when applicableBenefits:Cost of DBS CheckOn-going Training & Development* Terms applyRegistered Nurse - RGN Experience within a nursing / care home environmentPassion for nursing and delivering high quality careValid NMC PIN with no restrictionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOur positions are subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosures which will be completed upon successful application.
