ANALOGUE IC ENGINEER PERMANENT- FAREHAM -£50,000-60,000 (Negotiable D.O.E)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Analogue Engineer to join the ranks of a global semiconductor company, who manufacture Integrated Circuit products and systems for display applications.
The successful individual will be responsible for the definition, design and support of next generation capacitive touch controller IC's, through the whole product life cycle. You will become part of an international Analogue Design Community and operate within multi-disciplinary, multi-site teams.
Main Responsilbities:
To assist in the definition and design of derivative and next generation capacitive touch controller ICs
Push forward the performance and cost effectiveness of the product
Provide analogue expertise to all phases of the products design process, including simulation and validation.
Provide and share CMOS IC analogue expertise with multi-disciplinary teams.
Ensure designs are cost effective, for both test and manufacture.
Essentials:
BSc or BEng in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Expert in design process of specifivation to validated silicon
Experience of Mixed Signal, Digital and Analogue
Experience of low power and multi-voltage design
Extensive knowledge of basic analogue building blocks
Highly competent in DfT, DfM, Silicon Debug and Failure analysis
Familiar with SPICE simulation
Experience programming or scripting languages such as perl, awk, tcl or C etc
Desireable/Advantageous:
Knowledge of Verilog-AMS modelling
Good system modelling and analysis skills
Familiar in High-voltage analog circuit design
Use of Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Eldo, HSPICE, Calibre
