Nepali speaking TA
Teaching Assistant required for a primary school in West Bromwich. Must be fluent in Nepali.
Hays Education currently has a fantastic opportunity available for a confident experienced Teaching Assistant.
This Thriving one form entry school based in the heart of West Bromwich are looking to appoint a qualified Teaching assistant that is fluent in Nepali, to work one to one with a pupil in reception. The school are passionate about the pupils and aim to ensure pupils are equipped for the next part of their learning journey.
The role will commence immediately until the end of the summer term with the potential to extend further. This is an integral role for the school, as the child has communication restrictions, therefore we require a confident, patient teaching assistant to provide one to one support. This role will involves delivering interventions, as well as assisting with the delivery of the curriculum, at times you may be required to support the wider class group. You will need to have broad experience of working with similar pupils in a mainstream education setting and have the compassion to support and nurture pupils.
To be considered for this teaching assistant role, you need to hold a level 3 teaching assistant/childcare qualification or equivalent. You will need to hold a minimum on 2 years' experience of supporting pupils and have the ability to work as part of a team coordinating the care of a pupil (including class teacher, parents and outside agencies).
