This is quite an amazing opportunity for someone who lives and breathes sports, especially football! Obviously you'll have to know your social as well, but this is a growing company that has high ambitions for their social presence. You don't have to have a specific background in Sports/Football, the client is quite open - but if you have then that would be great!

The Role:
*Defining and implementing a social media strategy to maximise exposure and engagement
*Working in partnership with some of the largest football clubs out there,
*Creating and implementing a social media calendar and production of social content (images, video, infographics)
*Activation of sponsorship and ambassador assets
*Creating and running campaigns on a number of social media platforms -Twitter, Instagram & Facebook
*Coordinate with sports editorial team to drive traffic to the blog and increase awareness for blog content
*Work closely with Analytics & Insights team to mine social and customer data to generate new campaign ideas
*Coordinate with customer service agents to manage and escalate customer complaints via social channels
*Analysis of campaigns, reporting results and presentation of insights/actions
*Developing and maintaining market leading industry knowledge of social media marketing to assist with delivering a top level service.

*Have a love of Football and all sports
*Great communication skills and highly creative
*A comprehensive understanding of all disciplines within marketing with proven skills in social media
*Extensive knowledge of and previous experience working with Facebook and other social media applications.
*Understanding of modern web technologies/social platforms and how to apply them to campaigns (including tracking)
*Highly analytical and able to demonstrate ongoing campaign optimisation
*Ability to understand, manipulate and interpret data to make informed business decisions and drive profitability
*Confident written and verbal interpersonal skills.
*Strong analytical skills and highly numerate
*Excellent decision making ability
*Innovation and ability to think 'outside the box'
*Ability to thrive is a fast paced environment and value attention to detail
