Hours: 37 hours a week Monday- Friday

Are you a Senior Nurse looking for career development or a Clinical Lead looking to work Monday- Friday? You can be RGN, RMN or RNLD qualified with a passion for elderly care - if this sounds like you, then I have the perfect role for you!

I am currently looking for a strong leader with a nursing background to join a wonderful charitable organisation that has provided nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly in the West Midlands for the last 20 years. They operate on a non-for-profit basis; all surplus income is invested straight back into the services. The organisation is also extremely supportive; they are not a large provider and this enables them to provide thorough guidance and advice to their homes and staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained throughout their services.

The home that you will be joining has been recently been rewarded an overall rating of Good by the CQC, so you will be assisting the Home Manager to maintain and improve this. Your main role will be overseeing a small unit within the home, made up of 32 beds. Your shifts will be varied; made up of supernumerary, assessments and working the floor.

The role is 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

As Clinical Lead, you will be able to:
• Support and deputise for the Manager in their absence
• Assist the delegation of workloads and nursing resources
• Ensure accurate care records are kept
• Promote and maintain a high standard of care throughout the unit
• To ensure effective induction of all staff, together with supervision of trained staff, as well as providing mentorship, assessment and induction of new staff
• Conform to the latest guidelines and CQC standards

The ideal candidate will possess:
• Valid Nursing PIN (RGN, RMN or RNLD)
• Experience working as a senior nurse or above

In return, my client will offer excellent career progression, an hourly rate of £16.42, and the opportunity to work for a highly regarded care provider.

Call me, Lindsay at Amber Mace on 01904 571 187 for a chat about the role, or email your up to date CV to to be considered for this excellent opportunity.
