·Purchasing of engineering equipment and services.
·Ensuring optimum stock levels at all times.
·Working as part of the purchasing team, your role includes providing administrative support to the team.
·You will train and work towards developing a career in the purchasing team the goal of which is s to deliver products and services on time, in full and in a cost effective manor, considering all commercial factors such as price, quality, delivery terms and payment terms.
·Updating internal reports, ensuring accurate information is available at all times.
·Previous purchasing experience is preferred.
·You will ideally have an engineering background.
·Ability to self-manage and prioritise workload.
·Must have attention to detail.
·Proven negotiation experience.
·Must have previous purchasing experience and A levels preferred, NVQ III & IV in Supply Chain Management or CIPS advantageous.
