Commercially Driven Senior Finance Analyst Role for a Bluechip Business in High Wycombe

Your new role

Main Purpose:

  • To be an effective member of the financial and divisional management teams, producing robust, reliable, accurate financial information for their respective regions.
  • To participate in continual performance improvement through the leading and implementation of key projects and processes for their respective regions.
  • Primary contact for the Regional General Manager and regional team for all financial matters.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Primary contact for the Regional Operational team for all financial matters.
  • Ensure company financial controls and processes are followed.
  • Review monthly account reconciliations.
  • Recommend and prepare financial business cases for investment, capital expenditure and change programmes resulting in cash flow and profit improvement.
  • Proactively seek and recommend profit improvement suggestions for the region in conjunction with the RGM.
  • Ensuring regional period-end close and submissions are made on time and in full.
  • Prepare regional re-forecasting and budgeting.
  • To lead the investigation and query resolution for any issues that arises on the P&Ls.
  • Maintain other key performance data as required.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and leadership for any direct reports.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Graduate qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
  • Experience of working with and supporting operational, commercial staff across multiple locations.
  • 3 years Management accounting experience (gained in the service or logistics industries an advantage)
  • Experience of P&L ownership from start to finish
  • Managerial experience is preferable
  • Organised with the ability to plan and prioritise
  • Able to problem solve.
  • Computer literate, advanced excel skills necessary.
  • To be flexible and have the ability to multi-task
