As an award winning stockbroker we help people meet their long-term financial goals by making the process of investing ‘simply easier’. Based in Aylesbury, we offer the allure of a top notch ‘City job’ located in an expanding town with easy access to both the countryside and the capital.
Grow your career with The Share Centre, one of the UK’s leading stockbrokers
As 4x winners of the Investment Trends Award for Customer Service we are leaders outside our sector as well as within it.
As one of the first to offer the Lifetime ISA product we are forward thinking, cutting edge and excel at what we do. Our Graduate Trainee Programme offers the opportunity to help shape the future for our business, our customers and your career. We will set you on the road to an exciting career within our Investments function - a dynamic, fast paced, strongly professional and highly ambitious team at the heart of our business.
Your practically focused 12 month training across our multi-faceted business will be supported by study for membership of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) or the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA). You will have regular opportunity to share your learning through in-house presentations to colleagues and senior managers and your end of placement assessments will further support and direct your soft skills development.
On completion of your 12 month programme you would continue with relevant professional study to support next steps. As an Investment Analyst, you would liaise with the industry’s biggest fund management companies to research investments and identify opportunities for our customers. As a Dealing Team Manager, you would oversee the smooth operation of one of our key frontline operational teams, facilitating hundreds of investments every day.
We offer a competitive salary, generous benefits and full contribution to the costs of professional study.
If you are a recent graduate, or expect to graduate in 2018, with at least a 2:1 degree we’d love to hear from you – whatever subject you have studied – as a keen intellect and strong motivation to be successful in this sector is as important as any academic learning. Applicants must have the right to live and work permanently in the UK.
The selection process will involve, at various stages, on-line assessment, interviews with, and presentations to, senior management.
We look forward to hearing from you. To Apply, click on the button to send your CV. Please also send a covering letter, of not more than two A4 pages, setting out the ways in which you excel, your passions and ambitions and how you would contribute to our business.
The closing date for applications is 12th January 2018 – though this may be brought forward if sufficient suitable applications have been received.
