Job Description

Reporting directly to the Group CEO, and UK Sales & Marketing Director, this key role will be accountable for developing and executing a strategic marketing and digital plan. This will help significantly grow the business by delivering tangible and measurable revenue growth, increasing brand awareness, improving customer satisfaction and enhancing digital presence in line with the Groups overall objectives.

Primary accountabilities include:

  • Develop and deliver the marketing and digital strategies which drive sales growth
  • Develop and deliver the Group and UK marketing, external and internal communications, PR and events collateral
  • Provide marketing support for the launch of new products and services to drive growth
  • Develop and set appropriate brand guidelines
  • Lead UK internal communications in conjunction with Group HR Director
  • Champion the delivery of great customer service through the effective use of Net Promoter Score and other measures
  • Engage with key consultancies and strategic partners to increase business opportunities and brand presence

The Successful Applicant

To be the successful Group and UK Head of Digital and Marketing, you will have developed a well rounded marketing and team leadership experience. ideally this will be from a growth oriented outsourced services / facilities management, security or construction business environment.

The successful candidate will need to be a commercially focused marketing professional with a thorough understanding, and successful track record, of delivering tangible sales growth. You will have successfully delivered improvements to brand recognition and overall customer satisfaction, ideally from working in an organisation that is coming out of a period of transformation. Prior knowledge of Net Promoter Score to drive customer satisfaction will be beneficial.

You will be a creative and strategic thinker with the vision, determination and ability to succeed. You will be comfortable with quickly moving from strategic thinking to being hands-on with an enthusiastic and can do mind-set. You will also have proven experience of managing external communications and driving employee engagement.

As an inspirational and expert marketing leader you will be highly adept at managing senior stakeholders to C-Suite level. You will be able to provide clear direction and both empower and motivate a diverse range of stakeholders. Of critical importance will be your ability to implement marketing plans in other countries through influencing key decision makers and marketing teams who do not directly report to you.

You will be an excellent listener but able to articulate your own views effectively.
