Internal Communications Co-ordinator - Lichfield
Job Purpose Are you a passionate and enthusiastic communications professional, looking to further your career within an ambitious national organisation? We are seeking a talented individual to join our busy communications and marketing team based in Lichfield. Working alongside the Internal Communications Team Leader, the central purpose of the role will be to support the development and delivery of a comprehensive internal communications programme to engage employees across the business; supporting the delivery of great care and support to over 3,500 individuals with learning disabilities. The role will include: Assisting with all aspects of drafting and scheduling internal communicationsCreating weekly communications updates, central communication documents and internal communications campaignsAssisting with the planning and delivery of the annual awards programmeContent creation for magazines, the website, intranet and internal communication channelsAssisting with the organisation and creation of content for internal events and conferencesSupporting the delivery of a comprehensive internal communications programme, with an emphasis on improving engagement throughout the businessEvaluating and monitoring the effectiveness of internal communications activity across the business. Person Specification Educated to degree level or equivalent, the successful candidate will have a proven attention to detail and previous copywriting and proofing experience within a marketing and communications team. You will be IT literate with excellent communication and time management skills, contributing to the ability to work in a fast paced team environment delivering to tight timescales. You'll also have a natural inclination to be proactive in supporting colleagues across the team and wider business, whilst creating and strong business relationships at all levels would be a particular strength.
