The home provides comfortable and homely accommodation within a welcoming and secure environment, allowing residents to feel safe and relaxed. Bedrooms are tastefully furnished and decorated and residents may personalise their room with their own belongings to promote familiarity.RoleThe position of Home Manager is a front-line leadership role within a residential care setting. You'll be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations, including recruiting and managing staff teams, managing budgets and ensuring that the quality of the services provided meets national care standards. Strong leadership skills in conjunction with a role model approach, and be comfortable in making challenging decisions in a demanding environment.Experienced in care management with excellent knowledge of Care Standards, Regulations and Valuing PeopleCustomer Focused at all times with a commitment to continuous improvement within the Home. Excellent Commercial AcumenExcellent communication skills to all residents and members of staffStrong clinical knowledge and expertise (nursing qualification is desired but not essential).Diploma Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
