We, at BSS, have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Training Manager to join our enthusiastic Training Team based in Nottingham. In this role you will be supporting colleagues to develop their technical expertise through the design, development and delivery of appropriate and effective product and systems training.

Utilising your experience and passion for people development you will assist with design and help deliver effective, robust and accurate training programs in line with the business’ requirement in order to improve technical product expertise. Communicating confidently on all levels will be vital in this role as you will be liaising with colleagues on multiple levels to raise the capability and desired behaviour of colleagues.

Alongside the above you will also be responsible for:

Identifying opportunities to improve training delivery methods and compliance to agreed business/safety standards.

Identifying potential needs through training needs analysis, provide costing, draft project plans and formulate proposals for a solution to any identified need.

Collating feedback and evaluating the impact and effectiveness of training against specific criteria using agreed methodology.

Involving subject experts and stakeholders to ensure learning content is accurate and solutions practicable, relevant and structured to provide clear development pathways for the future in the relevant timescales.

Driving projects through to successful completion, advising the Technical Director in a timely manner when deadlines or budgets are under threat.

Developing awareness of business drivers, operational detail and commercial performance to establish and maintain credibility with stakeholders and colleagues.

Keep abreast of training and development best practice to ensure learning within is well regarded and results orientated.
