We are looking to recruit to a full time Management Accountant. Most importantly, we are seeking an enthusiastic team player with a pragmatic approach, who is self-motivated and able to act on their own initiative and able to lead and develop a small finance team.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing a finance function and be a well rounded Accountant, producing monthly/quarterly management accounts, including trail balance, accruals prepayments, journals and the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting processes, as well as producing various financial reports and analysis.
The post will report to the Chief Executive, but most of the day to day running of the function would fall under the responsibility of the Management Accountant. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with good IT skills and a minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance department for a medium sized business. Working within a charity and knowledge of Sage accounting system would be an advantage but is not essential.
