What we’re looking for

Sales Manager – Infrastructure

South Region

By setting the strategic direction for PERI’s Infrastructure and Civil Engineering project pipeline, you will play a vital role in securing and supporting targeted projects. As the construction industry continues to evolve, a key aspect of this role is to oversee the successful delivery of projects by ensuring our solutions meet changing needs.

Key duties:

·Monitor the long-term outlook for civil engineering projects to indicate upturn or downturns in opportunities as early as possible

·Identify target projects early on in order to develop potential solutions in advance of project being awarded to a specialist sub-contractor.

·Attend customer briefings and liaise with specialists in the UK or Weissenhorn to ensure the safest and most cost-effective solution is offered

·Prepare bid material including actual and virtual sales aids tailored for each key project

·Present key project bids and lead contract negotiations

·Support Sales Engineers to secure target projects

·Ensure projects are delivered effectively

·Initiate a virtual project team for each secured job to ensure effective internal communication across all departments and thorough understanding of everyone’s roles and responsibilities

·Maintain accurate records for each project

·Deliver detailed product presentations to customers and other relevant parties e.g. owners, developers, main contractors etc.

·Create internal training courses for PERI colleagues

·Maintain an awareness of competitor and customer activity, indirect threats and industry trends

·Communicate key information to relevant PERI colleagues and customers

What you’ll need

Experience

  • Commercial experience within the Construction Industry
  • Strong product knowledge of all formwork, falsework, access and shoring systems used within the sector

·PC literate with good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office standard programs

·Proven commercial success with climbing projects

·Able to balance multiple projects with strong attention to detail

Other criteria

·Full UK Driving License
