Enterprise Technical Architect (SOA Cloud Security Open-Source Enterprise Service Bus ESB) - Can be based London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham

Contract: 6 MonthsRates: £500 - £600 a dayStart Date: Immediate startWorld Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for an Enterprise Technical Architect located in London or Manchester. This position will be focused on future architecture of Digital Age of within Cloud, Hosting within an Enterprise Service Bus/Open Source environment.


Cloud and Security Technology practice looks to support the future vision of the business we need to ensure that the systems and platforms upon which we develop and support our customers are ready for the digital age. The proliferation and requirement for automation and integrated platforms means that the practice must ensure that systems are being designed with reference to a defined target state and derived set of principles, guidelines and best practices (eg loose coupling, statelessness, abstraction, etc.).The activity required is to understand the current cloud and security system integration landscape and review against the architecture vision and define initially a target state integration architecture followed by a supporting automation landscape.Key Deliverables: Market view - cloud and hosting system integration landscape; Current State Integration Architecture; Future State Integration Architecture; Automation Architecture; Supporting Principles; Architecture Roadmaps and Transition ArchitecturesESSENTIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

Have a proven background designing and architecting Technical Solutions, with multiple years' experience in an Enterprise environment.Strong understanding of integration techniques and use of technologies, such as Enterprise System Bus (ESB).Have experience of technologies in the Cloud, Hosting, Open Source (Apache, Fuse, JBoss, etc), Tibco Software ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks, WebMethod Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), IBM WebSphere ESB, Oracle Enterprise Service Business.Lead Technical Design Authority to ensure that technical decisions are made in a timely way and in line with the overall enterprise/technical architecture, such that the delivery teams are able to maintain delivery velocity.Lead the design of technical services and identify and plan required systems integration, selecting necessary platforms and technologies to meet project requirements and user needs.In collaboration with the Solution Architect provide technical leadership and consultancy to both internal and external development teams, ensuring infrastructure is fit for purpose, whilst meeting time and budget restraints.Build and maintain technical roadmaps, looking ahead for future opportunities or blockers and ensuring decisions by development teams align with the strategyDESIRABLE SKILLS:

RabbitMQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ, and Kestrel to be integrated on Cloud Integration PlatformsOpen Source Software: Apache Camel, Apache ServiceMix, Apache Synapse, Open ESB, Petals ESBIndustry standards: TMForum OpenAPIApplicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
