We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller/Site Administrator on behalf one of the UK's largest construction companies. The Document Controller/Site Administrator will be based on site, supporting a large construction team delivering a £150m rail project.

Reporting in to the Document and Information manager, duties will include:

Ensuring all project information is stored accurately on the document management system (4Projects, Viewpoint, BIW Conject).

Ensuring documents are being assigned to work packages

Booking site inductions

Managing all site health, safety and quality assurance.

Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure they are following the correct document management guidelines

Quality checking all information coming on to the system and processing accordingly

Screening telephone calls, messages, correspondence and documentation and deal where appropriate

Issuing and dealing with confidential documents and staff issues where appropriate

Updating the technical submission schedule, method statement schedules, RFI register and drawing register filing both electronic and hard copy

Managing all site archiving

Maintaining company electronic filing system

Ensuring the project directory is up-to-date

Managing monthly site hours and reporting and monthly absence reporting

The successful Document Controller MUST have at least 2 years experience working in a construction environment supporting a project team. You will also be able to demonstrate an indepth knowledge of document control systems, especially 4Projects, Viewpoint, BIW Conject.
