About Our Client
As a result of consistent growth and success, Equilaw is seeking a Head of Business Development to create and implement a Business Development strategy that harnesses the organisation's track record, drives new business opportunities and builds a team culture of innovation, accountability and consistency.
Equilaw, a market-leading firm of Solicitors specialising in the area of Equity Release, is recognised by financial advisers nationwide for their niche work and experience in this specialist area of law. The firm operates a national service within the equity release sector, providing independent expert legal advice to those wishing to release equity from their home. The organisation is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (number 525526).
Alongside the leadership team, the Head of Business Development will be responsible for devising, implementing and delivering the Sales strategy of the firm. Utilising an entrepreneurial mind-set, the Head of Business Development will identify key areas for growth and retention with Introducers and Accounts, through effective use of well-tuned market development and management techniques.
This is a hands on role, and the Head of Business Development will be expected to be active in the market, from sourcing new business to attending relevant events, and remaining up to speed with current market intelligence. In addition, the successful candidate will understand how to utilise technology to improve the customer experience, management and generation.
Furthermore, this is a leadership role. The successful candidate will directly manage the business development team, coaching and developing them to reach their goals, alongside engaging the wider business towards the overall strategic objectives.
This position is a national role, and will require regular travel.
