Ashfield is currently recruiting for an Orthopaedic Representative on behalf of Medartis. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for the achievement of the territory sales targets and growth across the Orthopaedic/ CMF markets. The candidate will establish strong relationships within allocated and identified accounts maintaining and developing key opinion leaders as well as developing new accounts within the territory across Orthopaedic/CMF surgery.

Key Responsibilities

* Responsible for creating and developing territory account plans in line with National strategy.
* Responsibility for territory activities to achieve set sales targets within agreed cost budgets.
* Development of key opinion leaders within each account.
* Development and knowledge of the non-clinical customer base, particularly within procurement.
* Responsible for gathering and feeding back competitor intelligence.
* Responsible for organising and running educational workshops within accounts as part of the account plan.
* Working knowledge and application of both the Internal Company Code of Conduct and the ABHI code of conduct.
* Attendance at local, National (and occasionally, international) courses and congress.

Essential Skills

* Proven track record of consistently achieving territory sales targets with a focus on return on investment.
* Experience selling within CMF or orthopedic fracture fixation.
* High level of personal impact and credibility gained from experience in the field
* Detailed knowledge and understanding of the NHS environment and private sector
* Detailed knowledge of the CMF and/or Orthopedic market sectors
* Detailed knowledge of account management principles and application and an ability to have well-structured and organized working methods
* Strong commercial acumen
* Good level of IT literacy
* Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation skills to individuals and groups
* Interpreting and analysing account data with a focus on return on investment

Today Medartis has at its disposal extensive know-how in the development and production of high quality titanium implant systems.
