My client is an award winning care home provider who is in search of an accomplished & talented nursing home manager to manage one of their flagship Nursing homes in Derby.

This is an outstanding nursing home management opportunity for a proven nursing home manager to showcase their skills. The home is beautiful with a great reputation in the area. It does require improvement in a few areas so the successful nursing home manager candidate will need to have had successes in improving standards of care and moving a home forward.

The successful nursing home manager candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the home, staff recruitment, training and appraisals, staff rotas, weekly and monthly audits, budget monitoring, care plan implementation, liaising with external bodies, attendance at management meetings and adhering to CQC standards and regulations.

You MUST be a qualified nurse and have previous experience successfully running nursing homes. It’s ideal for an existing nursing home manager who would like to run a nursing home as part of a larger provider with excellent benefits or perhaps for a peripatetic manager or operations manager looking to take a step back and achieve more work life balance and reduce their travel.
