Are you an experienced Low Frequency Assembly Wirer/ Tester? We have a position available with immediate effect based near Bicester. The main purpose of the division is to manage the highest level of service to all customers ensuring customer needs are met at all times, to interact with all departments to ensure efficient and effective teamwork across the entire local company and to assemble signal, low and high voltage wiring harnesses and associated metalwork.

Main Duties:

*To assist in ensuring any assembly problems are quickly identified and a solution is effectively put in place to resolve the issues. All problems must also be reported to the appropriate individual
*To review customers drawings and specifications and determine appropriate in-process test specs/methods/equipment to manufacture product to appropriate quality standards.
*To prepare accurate in-process test specs and times for inclusion on manufacturing routers.
*To co-ordinate the collection, processing and maintenance of in-process test records.
*To ensure all test equipment is calibrated
*To ensure that assembly operators are fully trained in the operation and use of test equipment.
*To recommend and implement cost reduction programmes.
*To assist in ensuring any assembly problems are quickly identified and a solution is effectively put in place to resolve the issues. All problems must also be reported to the appropriate individual
*To ensure company health and safety standards are maintained within the warehouse at all times, reporting any problems to the Production Leader
*To recommend improvements to test processes, procedures and equipment.
*Ensure compliance with all company procedures and policies.
*Any other ad hoc duties as and when required.


Essential requirements, skills and experience.

*Hands on experience of assembling signal, low and high voltage harnesses and associated metalwork.
*Ability to work from initial task brief and little supervision thereafter.
*Reliable, strong work ethic and organisational skills
*Good general tooling knowledge.
*Carry out quality and testing checks
*Ability to read engineering / customer drawings
*Job flexibility, including ability to work overtime as and when necessary
*Electrical Background
*Experience of high and low voltage testing including Flash
*Experience of setting up test programmes
*Experience of hands on assembly of building test adaptors
*Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Email, Word and Excel)
