We are working with a client in the education sector who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team.
Key responsibilities will include:
·Raising sales invoices, credit notes and monitoring payment receipts
·Issuing receipts for cash received and make sure that it is accurately accounted for
·Raising purchase orders and process invoices for authorisation and payment
·Managing the payment run process via BACS, dealing with queries and organising accounts
·Operating the petty cash system and making payments to employees in cash
·Processing monthly reconciliations, including expenditure and bank reconciliations
The ideal candidate will have recent previous experience within a Finance Assistant position, have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a team.
This role requires travel to different sites, so having your own transport is essential.
