We need someone to have product development experience, experience in proof checking either packaging or catalogues, you will have a real keen eye for detail. You will possess excellent organisational skills especially when working in a demanding environment where meeting deadlines is crucial.
We need a true team player, the team here all work together to ensure work is complete and to meet deadlines, they're a caring lot who all help each other out when needed.
A confident person is needed as their way of working is not by hiding behind emails when there are issues, you will happily pick up the phone to resolve any issues or queries.
They embrace new ideas and ways of working, so you will be naturally innovative and enjoy contributing to the team. Previous administrative experience is essential, retail experience would be desirable. PC Literacy is a must, especially Excel as there is a lot of costing work. It is highly desirable to have critical path experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaising with many departments within the business.
- Chasing and monitoring samples and preparing samples for meetings.
- Updating the system with product information - those that are selected/deselected.
- Recording and photographing new product lines.
- Ensuring all product lines have correct information logged and samples are logged on Critical Paths and Intake Sheet.
- Liaise with display teams and the studio for new designs and to set up show rooms for meetings.
- Working with the quality department on initial product checks.
- Chasing up factories and organise packaging and photography within timescales.
- Assisting other members of the team as required.
