Computer Vision / Machine Learning Engineer wanted by a specialist technology company who are continuing to grow their Manchester Division.

This is a rare opportunity to work on a suite of products that really make a difference to people's lives.

The Company:

You'll be joining a forward-thinking organisation who are keen to bring on an academically astute Computer Vision specialist into an already high performing team.

They are experts in their field and after a sustained period of success, they have continued their growth with the acquisition of a competitor in 2016 to allow them to continue their upward trajectory.

As they work all over the UK, Europe and the US you will have the opportunity to be involved across many business areas.

You &The Role:

A key part of an established Computer Vision team, you will be given real freedom to make this role your own. Although they have a strong leadership team, they are not big on micro management, you will be able to work off your own initiative from day one (more realistically day ten or eleven after an induction - otherwise you'll probably be wandering aimlessly).

Anyway, this role is ideally suited for a PhD level academic, ideally with a Computer Vision focused thesis who has either recently graduated, doing a Post Doc or has ventured into industry and fancies a change of scenery.

On a day to day basis, you will be working on a range of innovative solutions surrounding 3D imaging, Machine Learning, Neural Networks and Computer Vision, ideally on commercial data sets, however, university projects will be considered.

From a programming perspective, the guys are happy to consider anyone with experience of R, Python, SPSS, Matlab - however, to really stand out, your weapon of choice will be C++.

We can book in 1st stage interviews this week, so don't hesitate to apply!
