Salary: £42,000 per annum pro-rata.

Aurora Redehall, is a new special needs day school in Surrey, for pupils aged 6 to 16 years who have complex language and communication difficulties associated with Asperger’s Syndrome. They may have challenges around their emotional and mental health that create barriers to learning and impact on their behaviour.
As part of the schools continued growth strategy we are now looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join the team.
The post holder will provide Occupational Therapy Services in response to needs identified by assessment and as set out as part of a Statement of Special Educational Needs or Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), to enable students to fulfil their potential all aspects of their lives.
As a school with young people on the Autistic Spectrum, or related conditions, we would be looking for someone with strong experience in Sensory Integration and developing self-regulation strategies.

Qualifications: A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Previous experience in an Occupational Therapist role, preferably with children and young adults.
