Weekend Mechanical Maintenance engineer - Bristol/North Somerset (commutable from South Wales)

A Maintenance Engineer is required to undertake mechanical maintenance on state of the art production machinery within the facility on the Friday to Monday weekend day shift. Full training and development in company and manufacturing systems with excellent starting salary.

Salary & Location: £32k +excellent benefits


The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be undertaking mechanically biased maintenance on state of the art process machinery. The role is split between planned and reactive maintenance within the facility, and all engineers will be actively involved in helping set up PPM's weekly and installation work on a project basis.

Most of the role will revolve around front-line maintenance and so experience working in a pressurised maintenance role is required.

As a skilled and meticulous Maintenance Engineer you will be well organised and capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines on a rotating shift pattern.

The Candidate:

- Mechanical maintenance background (experience working on some of - pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors)

  • - Experience working in a high speed production environment or similar (ideal)
  • - FMCG or manufacturing industry background (ideal or similar)
  • - Happy working a weekend shift pattern
  • - Mechanical apprenticeship or similar
