My client are an expanding software house looking to continue their growth with the addition of an experienced Senior QA Analyst to the team.

You will participate in the full scope of the Test team activities and will be testing all of our products to an exceptionally high standard. The Senior QA Analyst will participate in the expansion of test processes and delivering clear tangible results in the form of improved quality and reduced time to market. To meet our customers growing demand for rapidly developed, high quality solutions, the company needs to expand its use of appropriate automated test tools.

The role will require full participation in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including: taking ownership of large test projects, working closely with colleagues and clients. The role requires an individual who is proactive and “hands on” in testing, writing and maintaining test plans, scripts and ultimately executing manual tests where required and creating credible test plans.

This position requires a highly competent, experienced, results oriented software testing professional focused on high-performance and highly-reliable resilient and scalable systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Development of test plan specificationsUnderstand requirements then design, implementation, and execution of testing in accordance to test plan specificationsEnsure that work meets or exceeds project performance, reliability, and quality goalsPerform functional and performance testing as well as reporting test resultsWork closely with the Research & Development team to ensure that products are testable and can be validatedTake ownership of the defect management process in collaboration with the Research & Development team and the Customer Support teamTake on the technical test leadership role on assigned projects or tasks, including task management for other team membersOther duties related to the overall effectiveness and improvement of the Research and Development team including adherence to the SDLC methodologies, tools, and internal tracking systems.JOB QUALIFICATIONS

University Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline (desirable)3+ years of senior level software testing experienceISTQB Intermediate Certificate (desirable)Proven experience of proficiency in test automation concepts and design for both LAMP and Microsoft environmentsExperience in designing, implementing, releasing, and after-sales test support of commercial software projectsExperience of testing legacy environments as well as newer technology products based on web services and ecommerceExperience of automated test development and/or automated load testing would be desirableExperience with the Windows operating system and familiarity with PC hardware and architecture, including: [Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 and Windows 7/10 and VB Script]SQL database experience – MySQL and MS SQL ServerReporting Services experienceExperience of interfacing with online payment portalsWorking knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
