Clinical Nurse Specialist - NW & Midlands (Fixed term contract)

This new UK based company is poised to change the face of haemodialysis and so revolutionise care for patients with renal disease. Developed by a team of highly experienced scientists and engineers, with clinical guidance from several leading renal specialists in the UK, USA and Germany this new technology offers the chance for patients to self-care and dialyse at home.

In order to support clinicians using the equipment, the company is now looking for a talented dialysis nurse to work as a Renal Clinical Nurse Specialist providing clinical and technical support to key clinic sites across the East and West Midlands and North West England (key sites - North Manchester, Nottingham and Smethwick). This will involve on site teaching and training, supporting trials and helping to formulate training protocols for both 'train the trainer' and 'train the patient'. You will be first port of call for renal nurses for help and advice and will work closely alongside the sales team to help with presentations and demonstrations as the customer base expands.

To apply you MUST be a renal dialysis nurse with significant haemodialysis experience or an intensive care nurse with CRRT/ dialysis experience and an active PIN. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to work effectively alone and as part of a small close-knit team. Ideally you will have some commercial experience - either from working as a nurse advisor or clinical trainer or perhaps in sales but talented and enthusiastic renal or ITU (with CRRT) nurses wanting to break into the business world may also be considered. You must have easy access to the Midlands/NW. Working from home you will also have regular visits to the Midlands office to work with colleagues, attend meetings etc.

This is an exciting fixed term contract position in a new company so there will be much scope for an enthusiastic renal nurse advisor to grow their career. It's is a fabulous opportunity to join this growing organisation with amazing new technology set to help dialysis patients enjoy a better quality of life worldwide. Please note that the hiring organisation follows safe and transparent recruitment practices and all appointments may be subject to reference and DBS checks.
