Change leadership in B2C manufacturing

This well established international manufacturing company is seeking a Managing Director to lead its UK operation. This is a superb opportunity to join a progressive and innovative company seeking a high calibre general manager to take the UK operation through the next stage of its planned development and beyond.

The Managing Director will report to the global CEO and will have full accountability for the successful operation and growth of the UK business. This includes every aspect of the business, from production, supply chain, finance, HR, to customer service, commercial and new business development. The role is a true general management one, with responsibility for the UK profit centre management, a requirement to play an active role in developing customer relationships whilst building a highly successful and well-motivated team.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading change and performance improvements, and will have already managed a business with a turnover of at least £20 million and employing in excess of 40 people. This needs to include experience of planning and implementing change in a production environment. Candidates will demonstrate a successful track record in their career to date with the full range of general management skills. They will have an ability to share the vision and inspire the team, with proven experience in growing businesses. For this senior key role candidates will be of graduate calibre, ideally with a degree in business or engineering/manufacturing.
